CIHR Spring 2020 Project Grant information session
Hello everyone,
FHS will be conducting a CIHR Project Grant information session:
Thursday, January 30, 2020
9:30 to 11:00 am - BLU 11021
The info session is designed for first-time applicants or those revising and resubmitting. It will cover:
1) Brief overview of application components and updates on changes to the CIHR Project grant application
2) Brief overview of SFU’s Knowledge Translation resources (Lupin Battersby, SFU’s Knowledge Mobilization Officer, lupin_battersby@sfu.ca)
3) Answers to frequently asked questions
4) Project Grant's most current review process, including a Q&A period with a reviewer who recently served on a Fall 2019 review committee:
• Dr. Scott Venners (Indigenous Health Review Committee)
The deadlines for the Spring 2020 CIHR Project Grant competition are:
• CIHR Registration deadline: Wednesday, February 5, 2020
• Full Application - SFU Research Services internal deadline (sig sheet deadline): Friday, February 28, 2020
• CIHR Full Application (submitted by Research Services): Wednesday, March 4, 2020
