NSERC CREATE Information Webinar for Applicants

NSERC’s Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) program awards grants of up to $1.65M over 6 years for the development of innovative training programs designed to enhance collaboration and facilitate the transition of trainees to productive employees in the Canadian workforce.
In preparation for the next CREATE competition, NSERC will hold an information session via MS Teams webinar to provide an overview of the CREATE program and application process. The dates of the sessions are as follows:
English session: February 10th 2022, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (ET) [10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PST]
French session: February 11th 2022, 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (ET) [10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PST]
The NSERC CREATE LOI competition sets a quota for the number of submissions from SFU. For the 2022 competition, prospective applicants are asked to follow the Limited Submission Process and submit a registration form by Thursday, February 17 2022 at noon PT. Please notify isa@sfu.ca and your faculty Research Grant Facilitator as soon as possible if you are interested in this opportunity to be kept informed about the internal competition and faculty-specific processes and deadlines.
