NSERC Office Hours
Megan Griffith from the NSERC Pacific Regional Office will be hosting office hours at SFU campus every month.
Megan is responsible for NSERC’s Experience Award, Connect Grants Levels 1 through 3, and is familiar with the ins and outs of Engage, Engage Plus, and all of NSERC’s Research Partnerships. If you are interested in collaborating with industry, Megan can help you get started, and provide advice on how to reach out to companies and put together a successful application.

On Tuesday May 15, 2018, Eniko Megyeri-Lawless, Director, Research Grants, Life Sciences and Engineering, Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) will be presenting at Simon Fraser University’s Burnaby Campus. You are welcome to attend either or both events.

Department of National Defence presents IDEaS - May 17, 2018
KT Canada Scientific Meeting: Advancing the methods of patient-oriented knowledge translation research (Vancouver, BC; June 7-8, 2018)
This is great opportunity to find out how to bring patient-oriented knowledge translation into your research. Nick Bansback, Health Economics and Simulation Modelling Methods Cluster Co-Lead, will be leading a discussion on "engaging patients in health economics research" and Alison Hoens, Knowledge Translation Specialist, will be a panelist in a discussion about evaluating patient engagement. Clayon Hamilton and Cheryl Koehn will be panelists for an additional discussion about evaluating patient engagement, which will be moderated by Bev Holmes, President and CEO of MSFHR.
BC Support Unit Provincial Conference: Lessons Learned for Patient-Oriented Research (Abstract Deadline June 17, 2018)

The BC SUPPORT Unit invites academics, clinicians, decision makers, and patients, their families and caregivers, to share their patient-oriented research (POR) experiences at the second annual BC SUPPORT Unit conference!
