Sep 30 Deadline – Baillet Latour Health Prize: This personal award is intended to recognize outstanding scientific achievements in biomedical research for the benefit of human health and to encourage the laureate in the pursuit of his/her career.

Sep 30 Deadline – Royal Society of London Foreign Fellowship: The Royal Society is a self-governing Fellowship made up of the most eminent scientists, engineers and technologists from the UK and the Commonwealth. Fellows and Foreign Members are elected for life through a peer review process on the basis of excellence in science. There are approximately 1,600 Fellows and Foreign Members, including around 80 Nobel Laureates. Each year up to 52 Fellows and up to 10 Foreign Members are elected from a group of around 700 candidates who are proposed by the existing Fellowship.

Sep 30 Deadline – Wiley Prize in Biomedical Sciences: Recognize breakthrough research in pure or applied life science research that is distinguished by its excellence, originality, and impact on our understanding of biological systems and processes.

Oct 31 Deadline – Warren Alpert Foundation Prize: Recognizes and honors one or more scientists, physicians and researchers whose scientific achievements have led to the prevention, cure or treatment of human diseases or disorders, and/or whose research constitutes a seminal scientific finding that holds great promise of ultimately changing our understanding of or ability to treat disease.

Nov 30 Deadline – Canadian Cancer Society Awards for Excellence in Cancer Research: Each year the Canadian Cancer Society honours exceptional men and women who have made a significant contribution in cancer research. Prizes including the Robert L. Noble Prize, the O. Harold Warwick Prize, the William E. Rawls Prize, and the Bernard and Francine Dorval Prize.

Nov 30 Deadline – Shaw Prize: The Shaw Prize is an international award to honour individuals who are currently active in their respective fields and who have recently achieved distinguished and significant advances, who have made outstanding contributions in academic and scientific research or applications, or who in other domains have achieved excellence. The award is dedicated to furthering societal progress, enhancing quality of life, and enriching humanity's spiritual civilization.

Dec 31 Deadline – Bressler Prize in Vision Science: The Bressler Prize in Vision Science was established in 2001 to honor Alfred W. Bressler, Esq., a distinguished New York attorney and benefactor. It recognizes established mid-career vision clinicians or scientists whose leadership, research and service have led to important advancements in the understanding of vision loss, treatment of eye disease or the rehabilitation of people with vision loss. It includes an unrestricted cash prize of $50,000 US.

Sep 30 Deadline – Stockholm Water Prize: Honours individuals, organizations and institutions whose work contributes to the conservation and protection of water resources, and to the well-being of the planet and its inhabitants.

Oct 1 Deadline – National Academy of Science Awards: Since 1886, the Canadian Academy of Sciences has honored outstanding achievement in the physical, biological, and social sciences through its awards program.

Nov 20 Deadline – Edison Achievement Award: Edison Awards honors one or more individuals who, through their careers, their leadership and their achievements, have distinguished themselves by making a significant and lasting contribution to the world of innovation.

Nov 30 Deadline – Small Business BC Award: The Small Business BC Awards recognizes the contributions and achievements of BC small business owners.

Nov 30 Deadline – Dan David Prize: The prizes are granted to individuals or institutions with proven, exceptional, distinct excellence in the sciences, arts, humanities, public service and business, that have made and continue to make an outstanding contribution to humanity on the basis of merit, without discrimination of gender, race, religion, nationality, or political affiliation.

Dec 15 Deadline – Gruber Prizes: The International Prize Program honours individuals in the fields of Cosmology, Genetics, and Neuroscience, whose groundbreaking work provides new models that inspire and enable fundamental shifts in knowledge and culture. Self-nominations are not accepted.

Dec 18 Deadline – Albert Einstein World Award of Science: Recognition and encouragement for scientific and technological research and development. It takes into special consideration research which has brought true benefit and wellbeing to mankind.
