NSERC DG Information Session

On June 20th, Tiffany Lancaster, NSERC Program Officer, will be visiting SFU's Burnaby campus to give a presentation on "How to apply for a Discovery Grant". This would be a great opportunity to ask any questions you might have about the application process, and to find tips on how to draft a successful application.

CIHR Project Grant Information Session

The Faculty of Health Science will be hosting an information session regarding the Fall 2018 Project Grant competition. The session will cover pertinent info on the most current structure of the CIHR Project grant application and review process, and will include a Q&A period with reviewers who served on the Spring 2018 competition. All first time applicants or those revising and resubmitting are invited to attend.

AGE-WELL Network of Centres of Excellence: Creating the Future 2020-2025 Vancouver Roadshow

On June 26, 2018, the AGE-WELL Network of Centres of Excellence (AGE-WELL NCE Inc.) will host a Vancouver Roadshow at Harbour Centre. Drs. Alex Mihailidis and Andrew Sixsmith, Scientific Directors of AGE-WELL, will share highlights of AGE-WELL plans for the future 2020-2025 Strategic Plan, describe how individuals and organizations can get involved in the network (funding, training and other opportunities), and invite participants to share their comments on the future directions of the network.
