WorkSafe BC - Innovation at Work

WorkSafeBC is committed to creating a province free from workplace injury, disease, and death, and to providing service driven by our core values of integrity, accountability, innovation, service, and partnership. Research Services has an annual budget of $1.5 million for research grants. Funding is offered through four grant categories, for projects that align with our mandate and research priorities
The WorkSafe BC Innovation at Work grant is to support small-scale research projects that lead to the development of practical solutions to address workplace health and safety issues.
We encourage collaboration between individuals in the workplace, researchers, and educators. Projects that include the experiences, skills, and expertise of people both in the workplace and in the research community are preferred, but not required.
Eligibility: Any Canadian resident can apply. Academic researchers affiliated with a college, university, or research institution may apply, but a non-academic partner must be included on the research team.
Total Funding Available: Maximum of $50,000 for duration of one year.

Competition Launch: November 2021
Application Form Due (required): February 2022
