National Science Foundation (NSF) Grants Program

Canadian institutions are not eligible to be the lead applicant on National Science Foundation (NSF) applications. The lead must be from a US institution. However, SFU can be a collaborator and receive funds through a sub-grant agreement.
If you are a collaborator on an NSF application please connect with the Research Services (ors@sfu.ca) as soon as possible. In most circumstances the lead institution will require either a letter of support or commitment forms. Research Services can facilitate the completion of the letter and/or forms. However, these can take several days to execute which is why it is important to connect with the appropriate Research Grants Officer as early as possible.
