Horizon 2020 - Opportunities for International Cooperation

Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020). It promises more breakthroughs, discoveries and world-firsts by taking great ideas from the lab to the market. 2017 Calls have included: Industry 2020 in the Circular Economy (€325 million); Smart & Sustainable Cities (€115 million); Technologies & standards for automatic driving (over €50 million); Internet of Things (€37 million); Closing the water gap (€10 million); see website for additional calls.
