Administered through SFU's Institute for the Study of Teaching and Learning in the Disciplines (ISTLD), Teaching and Learning Development Grants provide funding for SFU faculty to conduct research about teaching and learning.
The SFU Open Access Fund supports SFU authors publishing in fully open access journals that charge Article Processing Charges.
The Study Leave Research Grants are for any faculty member who has an approved study leave and intends to receive a grant in lieu of salary. The purpose and object of the expenditures proposed must be warranted in the context of the proposed research. The grant may be used for all the purposes of a grant-in-aid of research, but not to supplement income. The program covers only research activities and is not intended to cover projects directed at teaching or the development of teaching related skills.
